French media outlet Le 10 Sport is reporting that Marseille are hot on the trail of Sporting Braga midfielder Rafa Silva.
OM have seen Florian Thauvin join Newcastle and Remy Cabella arrive at Stade Velodrome on a season-long loan, while the club finally found a replacement for Marcelo Bielsa, with former Olympiakos coach Michel taking over the reigns.
With that task now completed, Marseille will attempt to further reinforce the squad before the transfer window closes and it appears that Sporting Braga’s Rafa Silva has emerged as their latest target.
The Portugal international had been previously linked with a move to Monaco and it looks as though he might end up in French Ligue 1 after all.
Rafa Silva, 22, has already made his mark on the Primeira Liga, while also breaking into the Portugal national team and earning three caps so far. The attacking midfielder was also part of the country’s squad at the 2014 World Cup finals.
