Manchester United’s Rafael da Silva is expected to be out for a month after fracturing his ankle in the Premiership match with Blackburn Rovers last Saturday.
The player finished the game with Rovers but tests this week point out that he suffered a minor fracture, according to manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The young Brazilian was set to represent his side in next Sunday’s League Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur, but will not have to watch from the bench: “It’s a setback for the lad, because he played in all Cup matches and did well,” Ferguson said.
