According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is considering a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
It’s no secret that the former Sevilla man is interested in a move away from the Nou Camp, and with Ronald Koeman changing things up in a big way since arriving as their new manager, Rakitic’s days do appear to be numbered.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has never been shy when it comes to making a big splash in the summer transfer window, and this truly would be a monumental signing for the North London outfit.
Their qualification for next season’s UEFA Europa League will only gloss over the fact that they’ve been performing below expectations ever since their defeat in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final.
Rakitic is now 32 years old, and with that in mind, you’d have to think this will be the last major move of his illustrious career.
