Rakitic offered to Juventus

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, La Liga champions Barcelona have offered Ivan Rakitic to Italian side Juventus. Rakitic has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish giants over the course of the last few months, with Barcelona needing to balance out their books in order to fall in line with the Financial Fair Play rules.

With just a few days remaining it seems increasingly unlikely that Neymar is going to be heading back to Barcelona, but Rakitic leaving the Nou Camp certainly seems more than plausible.

Rakitic is still widely considered to be one of the strongest midfielders in world football, but Barca seem to be more than willing to use him in any kind of deal that gets them what they want.

What they want, as you can imagine, is Brazilian forward Neymar to go running on back to the Nou Camp just a few years after leaving.
