Valencia defender Adil Rami has moved to confirm reports linking him with a summer switch to Italian Serie A.
The France international is looking to leave los Che in the summer transfer window and it appears a move to Italy is on the cards.
Asked by L’Equipe to comment on the rumours linking him with Inter Milan and AS Roma, Rami has replied:
“There are contacts, but I still cannot say anything.”
Rami has a contract until June 2015 with Valencia, but having rejected the last contract offer, he looks set to quit los Che at the end of the current campaign.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have expressed interest in the player’s services, but it appears he is not keen on returning to France.
The 27-year-old joined Valencia in a €6 million move from Lille two years ago and has since clocked up 58 La Liga appearances, scoring 2 goals in the process.
