Former Chelsea star Ramires, who currently plies his trade in the Chinese Super League at Jiangsu Suning, has been the subject of multiple inquiries from clubs looking to acquire his services, most notably Italian giants Inter Milan, according to ESPN.
The Brazilian’s agent Luiz Carlini revealed that he receives inquiries about the player “all the time”, but that any decision regarding a possible transfer would fall to Walter Sabatini, the Chinese club’s technical director. Ramires has been heavily linked with a move to Inter in the past few weeks and it now appears that the Italians may face some competition.
The athletic midfielder spent six seasons at Chelsea and achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League and Champions League with the London club. He made the move to China in January 2016 for a fee of £25m, a decision that many regarded as a negative one for his career.
However with a move back to one of Europe’s top leagues potentially on the cards, Ramires could add to his well-stocked trophy cabinet as the 30-year old closes out his glittering career.
