Premier League outfit Everton are looking to send a huge statement in the summer transfer window by acquiring two high-profile footballers, who have already arrived in Liverpool ahead of their proposed moves to Goodison.
Spanish media outlet Marca can reveal that Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez has rejected a chance to join Atletico Madrid in favour of Everton move, adding that the 21-year-old has already left the club’s training camp and travelled to England where he is expected to finalise his move to the Toffees.
Everton have reportedly triggered Ramirez’s release clause of €6 million and look set to land a quality addition to their squad in a bargain deal.
The former Barcelona forward scored 14 goals in 28 La Liga starts last season.
Another name linked with an imminent move to Everton is Ajax captain Davy Klassen. Guardian reports that Klassen is also in England, adding that Ronald Koeman himself played a big part in convincing the player to join the Goodison-based club.
