Ramos battles with Real Madrid

According to a recent report from AS, Sergio Ramos and Real Madrid are struggling with the terms of his proposed contract extension.

The debate that has been raging is said to be focused on the actual length of the extension as fans continue to plead with the club to get something signed. Of course, the defender clearly still has a deep passion for Real and wants to stay at the Bernabeu, but he wouldn’t be afraid to turn his back on them if the money was right.

Ramos is the definition of a controversial figure but the idea of him playing anywhere but in Madrid, at this stage of his career, seems bizarre. Both parties will do everything they can to get something signed but as we look ahead to the January transfer window, Real will be very eager to try and get the wheels turning sooner rather than later.
