Former Tottenham coach Juande Ramos says his former bosses at White Hart Lane preferred money over success.
Ramos believes the sales of Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane proves just that.
“The club sold Berbatov and Keane and everything went down,” said Ramos in The Sun.
“They preferred money ahead of competitiveness.
“Of course I’ve not forgotten England. It was a short experience but intense.
“To play and win the Carling Cup final in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley singing the national anthem and against a great team like Chelsea was extraordinary.”
Ramos was replaced by Harry Redknapp as Tottenham manager.
