Ramsey to be sold by Arsenal?

According to The Times, Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey could be sold by Arsenal in the January transfer window in order to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer. It’s no secret that contract talks between the club and Ramsey have broken down as of late, with the man himself keeping fairly quiet on the subject.

The logic makes sense from Arsenal, who likely won’t want anyone at the club who doesn’t truly want to be there. Aaron is said to be holding out for more money from the North London club, with reports suggesting that he wants to be earning the kind of money that Mesut Ozil is.

While it’s understandable to see where Ramsey is coming from, many fans don’t believe that he’s worth the kind of wages that are being thrown around – and, at the same time, they also feel like Ozil is fairly lucky to be on the wage he’s on.
