Rangers admire Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram

Rangers are interested in Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram, according to The Athletic. The Scottish Premiership club wanted to sign the midfielder in the summer of 2020, and the Gers retain an interest in the Englishman.

Lundstram has been at United since 2017, and although he has done well over the years, the 26-year-old midfielder’s importance has dwindled this season. According to WhoScored, the 26-year-old midfielder made 26 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the league. So far this season, the English midfielder has made nine starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chris Wilder’s side, according to WhoScored.

Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 62 points from 22 matches, as many as 19 points clear of second-placed and defending champions Celtic, who have played 19 games.
