Rangers and Celtic at 3/4 for both teams to score at Sundays Old Firm derby

Competition: Scotish Premiership
Market: Both teams to score at Rangers vs Celtic
Odds: 3/4 @ Bet 365

Undoubtedly the biggest game in the entirety of Scotish football, on Sunday afternoon, Ibrox will play host to this years much-anticipated Old Firm showdown. Brendan Rodgers’ defending champions will travel to Rangers looking to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

For the hosts on Sunday afternoon, Graeme Murty’s revitalized Rangers side will be desperate to make a statement against their oldest foe. Having not beaten Celtic since 2012, Rangers have drastically improved of late and while they may sit six points adrift of Celtic at the head of the table, a win on Sunday will really start to heat things up. With their own six-point buffer over third place Aberdeen, Rangers have now won their last six games on the bounce and have aside from a 2-1 loss to Hibbs last month, Rangers have won 12 of their last 13 matches, the only draw coming against Celtic in December.

As for Brendan Rodger’s Celtic, the defending champions have enjoyed what can be described as a predictable year. While they may have dropped out the Europa League at the hands of Russian side Zenit last month, the Hoops have won both their games since then and once again sit top of the Scotish Premiership. Scoring 56 goals in their 28 domestic matches this year, no team boats a better goal return than Rodger’s side, however, defensively their still remain some question marks around Celtic.
