Glasgow Rangers are hopeful they can clinch another loan deal for Liverpool’s Ryan Kent, according to Liverpool Echo.
The Champions League winners are open to bids for the talented winger and are holding out for a £12 million bid for his services. That is apparently an amount too large for Rangers to part with at this moment, so they are looking for another temporary deal for the player who impressed last season at the Ibrox.
Former Liverpool player Gary McAllister, now working under Steven Gerrard at the Rangers, says the Scottish club are aware of the possibility of Liverpool receiving actual bids for a permanent transfer during the summer, which would make their position difficult. He believes the final decision will be made further down the line, but he feels the 22-year-old is worth the long wait.
McAlliser confirmed ongoing talks between the two clubs, and revealed his conclusion that his current club would be the first in line, should the Reds sanction another loan deal.
