Rangers are interested in appointing former Chelsea and Everton boss Frank Lampard as their new manager, according to 90min. Rangers are on the hunt for a new manager after sacking Michael Beale this past weekend, and Lampard is one of the names who is being considered.
90min has claimed that Lampard is interested in becoming the new manager of Rangers. The former England international midfielder is without a managerial role at the moment after a spell as the interim manager of Chelsea last season. Lampard has been in charge of Derby County as well in the past.
Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 12 points from seven matches. The Gers are seven points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who are also the defending champions. Rangers will return to action on Thursday evening when they take on Aris Limassol away from home in UEFA Europa League Group C.
