Rangers are interested in signing Fabio Silva from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Premier League club Wolves are open to sending the 21-year-old forward out on loan in the middle of the season, and that Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are keen on bringing him to Ibrox for the second half of the season.
Silva has been on the books of Wolves since 2020 when he joined from FC Porto. The Portugal Under-21 international forward spent the first half of last season on loan at Anderlecht in Belgium and the second half of the last campaign on loan at PSV in the Netherlands. The Wolves no. 9 has made three starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League and has scored one goal in two EFL Cup matches for Wolves so far this season.
Wolves are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 17 matches, seven points above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Rangers currently find themselves second in the Scottish Premiership table with 40 points from 17 matches, five points behind leaders, defending champions and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 45 matches.
