Rangers midfielder Lee McCulloch has signed a two year contract extension, thus tying him to Ibrox Park till the summer of 2013. The 32 year old Belshill born medio joined the Gers from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2007 on an initial four year contract.
Rangers revealed on their site that McCulloch had attracted attention from several British clubs following his performances for them in the 09/10 season.
McCulloch started his career at Motherwell and made close to 150 appearances for them before moving south to Wigan Athletic in 2001. He notched up more than 200 appearances for the Latics in six seasons before returning to Scotland by signing for Rangers in 2007.
