According to a recent report from Daily Record, Scottish giants Rangers are planning a clearout during the January transfer window that will see up to five of their first team stars leaving the club. Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will, of course, be at the forefront of the operations regarding what comes next for all of the players in question, with this move likely being done in order to try and freshen things up ahead of the second half of the season.
Rangers are making a push for the Scottish Premier League title for the first time in years, with Gerrard believing that they’re capable of pipping bitter rivals Celtic to the post.
Regardless of what Celtic are doing, though, they need to be focusing on their own game in order to ensure that they’re keeping up the standards expected of them in this league.
Gerrard would almost certainly need to bring in some reinforcements if this exile took place, mainly due to their Europa League campaign.
