Rangers do not want to sell their captain and star player, who has two years left on his current deal, but the Gers do have placed a £15 million price-tag on him.
Tavenier has been on the books of Rangers since 2015 and has established himself as one of the best and most important players for the Gers. Despite being a right-back by trade, he is a goal machine. Tavernier has scored 17 goals and given nine assists in 34 Scottish Premiership games this season. He scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in the league last season.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 78 points from 34 matches. The Gers are three points behind leaders and bitter rival Celtic. Rangers have already won the Scottish League Cup this season and will take on Celtic in the final of the Scottish Cup.
