Rangers are interested in signing Connor Barron in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun. Barron is out of contract at Aberdeen, and Scottish Premiership rivals Rangers are keen on securing the services of the midfielder on a free transfer.
The Scottish Sun has reported that Rangers are at the front of the queue to sign Barron. Cagliari are interested in the Scotitsh youngster, who is on the radar of clubs in England as well. However, Barron could make the move to the Gers this summer. The report has claimed that Barron has been on a short break in Portugal but could fly back for medical and contract talks.
Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership table this past season. The Gers picked up 85 points from 38 matches. Old Firm rivals Celtic won the league title yet again with 93 points from 38 games. As for Aberdeen, they finished seventh in the league table last season with 48 points from 38 games.
