Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has blasted the players during this morning’s training session following the 3-3 draw with Chievo at home.

Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the coach gathered his players in a circle on the Vinovo training pitch to give them a stern ticking off and demand an improvement for the upcoming clash with Genoa this weekend. The former Chelsea man is unhappy after his side allowed their pursuit of Inter to flag, leaving them now nine points behind the Serie A leaders.

Ranieri was hard as he tries to draw the line on abject form, and restore order and hunger, as well as the belief to bounce back. All the squad apart from captain Alessandro Del Piero, David Trezeguet, Zdenek Grygera and Hasan Salihamidzic were present. The captain turned up late for the session while the two defenders are injured.
