Nantes boss Claudio Ranieri could take over the reigns at Lyon in the summer, according to Le Parisien.
The Italian has enjoyed another successful campaign, this time in France, as he led the Canaries to a top table position, thus further establishing his growing reputation.
Le Parisien claims that Ranieri has informed the club chiefs that he wants to leave at the end of the season and join a bigger club.
The same source has suggested that the Italian hinted he was on the verge of taking over at Lyon, although les Gones will first want to know whether Bruno Genesio plans to remain at the helm.
Claudio Ranieri has also been linked with a vacant managerial position in the Italy national team, and it seems he will have several good offers at the end of the season.
