There are several names mentioned in the press these days as potential candidates to replace Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain, and according to The Times, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is one of them. The likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao have also been linked very heavily with the Ligue 1 champions.
Rashford has four years left on his contract at Old Trafford and his services certainly won’t come cheap, but the same can be said of Osimhen and Leao as well. Osimhen can apparently only be prised away from Napoli through his €130 million release clause. Milan won’t be taking into consideration any offers below €100m for Leao, and it’s hard to imagine United relinquishing Rashford for less than nine figures either.
Rashford’s numbers this season haven’t been great so far, despite manager Erik ten Hag showing plenty of faith in his abilities. At this point, the 26-year-old attacker has five goals and six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
