Marcus Rashford is considering the possibility of continuing his career away from Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old is a product of United’s academy. He was promoted to the first in January 2016, back the days of Louis van Gaal, as one of the most exciting young prospects of English football. In March that year, he scored the only goal in the Manchester Derby at the Etihad, giving his team the three points and the bragging rights in the city.
Fast forward six years, and Rashford isn’t playing nearly as much as he’d like to for United, and they’ve just been utterly demolished by City at the Etihad.
Apparently, Rashford is currently worried about game-time and his role in the team at United going forward. He is prepared to stay professional to the end, but he wants clarification on his situation at the club. At the end of the season, he will be entering the final 12 months of his contract.
