Manchester United have opened contract talks with Marcus Rashford, according to Sky Sports.
The twenty-one-year old is in fine form, scoring six goals since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as manager, taking his season’s tally to ten in all competitions.
His current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, while that deal has an option to extend by a further year though the club are keen to tie the forward down for longer period.
Since breaking into the Red Devils’ first team Rashford has played one hundred and fifty-three times in all competitions while his appearance in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Leicester City, in which he hit the winning goal, was his one hundredth in the Premier League.
He has been capped thirty-one times for England, scoring six goals and was part of the squad that attended last summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.
