Rashford unhappy at United

Marcus Rashford is extremely unhappy about his status at Manchester United, a report in the Mirror reveals.

The young forward made 43 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team this season, but only 22 of those have been as a starter. He has been used as a substitute far too many times for his liking. Now, even though the player hasn’t made any public comments, the Mirror claim he has privately expressed his feelings, claiming he is becoming “increasingly disillusioned” at not starting enough games at Manchester United.

Apparently, he is particularly unhappy because of not starting the Manchester Derby at the Etihad on Saturday, a game that saw United unexpectedly beat City and postpone the imminent title celebrations of Pep Guardiola’s side.

The January transfer of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal is likely to have further negative impact on Rashford’s game-time, and the 20-year-old attacker might look for a change of scenery this summer.
