Raul Albiol linked with La Liga return

Napoli defender Raul Albiol is being heavily linked with a summer exit, according to Sport Mediaset.

The 32-year-old has been an important member of the back four that only conceded 15 goals in 25 Serie A games this term, helping the Azzurri climb to the Serie A summit.

But, even though he has another two and a half years left on his current deal, a summer exit could be on the cards.

Namely, Albiol has a €6 million release clause in his contract and there are quite a few La Liga sides ready to match the asking price.

The experienced centre-back had impressed playing for Getafe, Valencia and Real Madrid, and he could now be returning to Spain after five years.
