Spanish striker Raul Gonzales Blanco has reportedly agreed a summer deal with New York Cosmos, according to AS.
The 36-year-old has less than two months left on his current deal with Qatari side Al Sadd and he was thinking about ending his playing career.
However, AS understands that Real Madrid legend has decided to embark on one last challenge and sign a deal with New York Cosmos.
The United States giants are playing their football in the second division and they have Euro 2008 winner Marcos Senna in their ranks.
After winning six La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies with Real Madrid, Raul moved to Schalke in the summer of 2010 and went on to score 38 goals in 66 Bundesliga appearances.
The Spaniard has since been playing for Qatari side Al Sadd, where he made a total of 39 league appearances and scored 11 goals in the process.
