(GSM) – Real Madrid’s Raul will ask for clarification of his role at the club before deciding on his future. The experienced striker is a legend at the Bernabeu, having established himself as the club’s all-time scorer over the years.
Raul has spent his entire career to date with Real and has been a first-team player at Real since he was 17. He has scored 44 goals for Spain, making himself the all-time goalscorer for his nation.
However, the player has slipped down the pecking order as of late and has been relegated to a substitute role.
And while Raul insists that he is happy to remain at Real, he does not rule out a move in the near future, saying that his situation is far from ideal.
“It’s not an ideal situation for any player,” he said.
“For 15 years I have won practically everything, and in the last three months I have played less. Sooner or later I had to come to his point.”
