Ostersunds FK’s technical director David Webb has confirmed that the club has had contact with Ravel Morrison, and that he is getting close to confirming his move over to Sweden. Morrison’s career trajectory has been fascinating to say the least, because once upon a time, he was considered to be one of the most promising young stars in English football. However, for a variety of reasons, his run over here didn’t work out with the likes of Manchester United, West Ham, Birmingham, QPR and Cardiff. He wound up making the switch over to Italian club Lazio, where he has only been able to make a handful of appearances. Ravel made a brief run in the England under-21s, back when it seemed like he could be a legitimate force on the international stage.
Morrison’s last club was Atlas over in Mexico, as he continues to search for a new permanent home where he can make a name for himself.
