West Ham midfielder Ravel Morisson is nearing closer to a summer move to Lazio, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Even with the player struggling for form of late, the Biancocelesti decided to offer him a long-term deal and they appear to have won the race for his signature.
Morrison has flown to Rome this morning to undergo a medical ahead of putting pen to paper on a contract with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
The 21-year-old will be joining Lazio on a free transfer when his current deal expires in the summer.
Despite showing a great deal of potential since leaving Manchester United for West Ham, Morrison never quite managed to live up to the billing at Boleyn Ground, making just 17 Premier League appearances for the club.
He has also enjoyed loan spells with Championship sides Birmingham City, QPR and Cardiff City, and has now decided to leave England altogether.
