Competition: Bundesliga
Market: RB Leipzig win and over 2.5 goals
Odds: 11/8 @ Bet 365
Desperate to secure another top-four finish, RB Leipzig will travel to a struggling Mercedes-Benz-Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of yet another very worrying display in their 3-0 loss away at Fortuna Düsseldorf, Markus Weinzierl’s side remain in pole position for relegation this season. Now sat three points adrift of safety, Stuttgart are enduring an eight-match winless run, a string of results that stems back to the middle of December. Arguably the least in form side in the Bundesliga, it will be their form at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena most concerning Weinzierl. Stuttgart have failed to win any of their last four matches at home, conceding two or more goals in each.
As for Ralf Rangnick’s side, with RB Leipzig coming off the back of a 0-0 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt and extending their unbeaten run to four matches, the visitors will have their sights set on a top-four finish. With their defeat to league leaders Borussia Dortmund last month their only defeat since the middle of December, Rangnick will be most impressed by his sides recent form on the road. Saturday’s visitors have now scored seven goals in their last two matches away from the Red Bull Arena and will be confident of extending that tally on the weekend.
Bet: RB Leipzig 11/8 to beat Stuttgart and over 2.5 goals in Saturday’s Bundesliga clash @ Bet 365
