Hoping to try and find a route back into the European spots this weekend, RB Leipzig will make the trip to Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon.

With just their goal difference keeping them from dropping into the relegation play-off spot, the Whites have collected just a single point from their last three top-flight contests. Hit with a 5-0 drumming against defending champions Bayern Munich last month, Stuttgart will also be worried by their continued struggles against Saturday’s guests. Including a 4-0 defeat in the reverse fixture, they have lost each of their last five meetings against the European contenders.
As for the visitors, while RB Leipzig might have shown a host of issues this season, they do appear to have found a welcomed boost under the boss Domenico Tedesco. Last seen marking their return from the festive break with a thumping 4-1 victory against Mainz on home soil, Die Roten Bullen now have their sights set on finding a route back into the European places. Securing a shock 2-1 win against Premier League giants Manchester City last month, Leipzig have lost just one of their last five matchups across all formats. Hoping to build off of the positives they showed last weekend, the former Schalke manager should be smelling another chance on Saturday afternoon. Landing that 4-0 romp when the two sides faced off back in August and winning each of their last five meetings against the relegation scrappers, we’re backing a similar outcome here.
