RB Leipzig won’t be able to welcome Liverpool to the Red Bull Arena for the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 clash on February 16th, due to Covid-related travel restrictions in Germany. The game will take place at the Ferenc Puskas Arena in Budapest instead, but Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann isn’t too worried about that.
There is also a possibility that the rematch, scheduled to take place on March 10th, won’t be played at Anfield, as reported by The Times. The German government has informed the Bundesliga club that if they travel to England, they would have to quarantine upon return amid worries about new strains of the coronavirus.
