Bundesliga high-fliers RB Leipzig are ready to make additional investments during the January transfer window in order to bolster their ranks and keep the title bid alive.
RB Leipzig are currently siting in second place, level on points with league leaders Bayern Munich as their dream start to the 2016-17 season continues.
The German outfit have already started making moves for the January transfer window as Sky Sport Italia reports that RB Leipzig made a formal approach for Udinese’s Seko Fofana.
Former Manchester City midfielder has been in fine form this season, having already scored four goals for his team, including the weekend’s curler in Udinese’s 3-1 victory at Atalanta.
The 21-year-old Seko Fofana has also been linked with AC Milan, but RB Leipzig are determined to beat the competition and persuade Udinese into selling the player who only arrived to Italy last summer for a transfer fee in excess of €3.5 million.
