Things are getting interesting at RB Leipzig. The German club are currently sitting in third place in Bundesliga and are all set to qualify for the Champions League next season. The club might have a help in that competition next season, because Leipzig are interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
According to Football Insider, Leipzig are preparing a move worth £30m for the young Englishman who has been excelling in the Championship. The 21-year old has been impressive in that league, scoring 23 goals in 34 appearances on loan at Aston Villa. Abraham has truly proved himself in Championship in recent years as a prolific striker, though he had his issues when he was at Swansea in his only Premier League season so far.
Abraham could be a possible replacement for Timo Werner who is more and more being linked with a move away from the club. If the German forward gets sold, that would also give breathing space to Leipzig for a move for Abraham.
