Bundesliga hotshots RB Leipzig are set to pull their Red Bull connections in order to boost their squad with a couple of highly talented youngsters this winter.
Respected media outlet Bild is reporting that RB Leipzig are set to sign Amadou Haidara from Red Bull Salzburg and Tyler Adams from New York Red Bulls.
Mali international Amadou Haidara has been quick to emerge as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe during the last year with some of Europe’s top football clubs all said to be keeping a close eye on his development.
RB Leipzig head coach Ralf Rangnick is a huge admirer of Haidara’s talents and he made no secret his club were closely monitoring the Malian who is contracted to Red Bull Salzburg until 2020.
“Haidara’s development does not surprise me and we will not stand by and watch him move to any club other than RB Leipzig”, Rangnick told German media earlier this summer.
New York Red Bulls homegrown midfielder Tyler Adams is set for a January move to RB Leipzig. Haidara and Tyler are said to have already signed pre-contracts with the Bundesliga outfit but were not expected to move to Germany before the end of the 2018/19 season.
Bild, however, claims that RB Leipzig are pushing to close the deals this winter and get the highly talented duo in January.
