RB Leipzig to cash in on Upamecano

Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig seem to be ready to cash in on talented defender Dayot Upamecano at the end of the season, according to SFR Sport 1.

The 19-year-old centre-back has largely impressed since joining from feeder club Salzburg in January 2017, making a total of 36 Bundesliga outings.

There have been quite a few top clubs showing interest in his services, with Barcelona reportedly leading the chase.

And while RB Leipzig plan to keep hold of most key players in the summer, they seem to be open to the possibility of selling Upamecano at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga side believe they can secure a very good deal if they decide to sell the Frenchman, and will, therefore, listen to offers for his services.
