Current PSV Eindhoven manager Sef Vergoossen will be joining Belgian side RC Genk. Vergoossen will be taking on the role of advisor.
The exact tasks Vergoossen will be getting in Genk will be discussed the coming days.
Vergoossen coached Genk from 2001 to 2004 and led the team to the Jupiler League championship in his second year at the club.
After adventures in the middle-east and Japan, Vergoossen came to the Netherlands to replace Ronald Koeman at PSV in January.
Although PSV went on to win the championship, it was clear from the start that Vergoossen would only be there for the season. In Eindhoven, his position will be taken by Huub Stevens.
