A remarkable story in the Sun newspaper this morning about the managerial situation at Tottenham. I have checked the date to make sure it isn’t April Fool’s day, so I can only assume that the story is based on something.
The paper says that Tottenham will try to replace manager Juande Ramos with Manchester City manager Mark Hughes. It claims that the club have already spoken to him about a five year deal worth £20 million.
Apparently, Tottenham hope Hughes will agree to join them during next week’s international break.
