Kalidou Koulibaly could finally be on his way out from Napoli this summer. According to Corriere dello Sport, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has made it known he would be willing to accept a bid of €99 million for his services – and not a penny less.
Meanwhile, AS report that the price being set made both Real Madrid and Barcelona raise their eyebrows, and the two Spanish giants are preparing to enter the race for the Senegal international. Apart from going against each other once more, the arch-rivals will also be looking to beat the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to get a deal done.
Koulibaly’s contract runs until the summer of 2023 which puts Napoli in a very strong negotiating position, but if De Laurentiis stays true to his word and accept a bid of €99m from any club, it seems it will all be down to potential suitors to convince the 28-year-old to choose them ahead of the rest.
