Looking to carry on their impressive run of form at the end of the year, Real Betis will travel to Leganes on the final game of the La Liga season.

For Asier Garitano’s Leganes side, although Los Legionarios have confirmed their La Liga status for another year, the hosts are coming off the back of a 3-2 loss away at Real Sociedad and have now failed to win any of their last five, losing their last three on the bounce. Now on a run of form that has seen them just pick up four points out of a possible 24, Leganes’ defensive issues aren’t their only problem at the back end of the season. Conceding eight goals in their last three outings, they also hold the third worst attacking record in the whole of La Liga.

As for Quique Setién’s Real Betis side, the White and Greens have done a stellar job of turning last years 15th place finish around. With Europa League football confirmed for Estadio Benito Villamarín next year, a win on Saturday could see Betis finish the year in fifth. Coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with Sevilla, Betis have now won seven of their last ten La Liga appearances and have scored two or more goals in five of those victories. It hasn’t been in just the final third the visitors have shown their strengths, Betis have also kept a clean sheet in six of their last nine.
