Basque TV station ETB has learned that Real Betis have agreed a contract with Real Sociedad midfielder Sergio Canales.
The 27-year-old will be a free agent in the summer and latest reports suggest he has agreed a three-year deal with los Verdiblancos.
Real Betis boss Quique Setien wanted to sign the player last summer and he seems to have finally secured his signature.
Sergio Canales has somewhat struggled for playing time at Anoeta, starting just 31 league fixtures in last three campaigns.
Meanwhile, Real Betis have started a very ambitious project and they have already secured several very good signings for next season.
