Real Betis are interested in signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Ceballos himself would welcome a return to Beits, with the midfielder struggling for playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ceballos has made two starts and two substitute appearances for La Liga so far this season. The 28-year-old midfielder has made three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as well in this campaign.
Fichajes has claimed that Madrid, linked with Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro, will not make it easy for Ceballos to leave in the middle of the season, but La Liga rivals Betis will try to do a deal. The Spanish midfielder joined Madrid from Betis in 2017. He had a loan spell at Arsenal from 2019 until 2021. Ceballos has won La Liga twice and the UEFA Champions League on three occasions with Madrid so far in his career.
