Real Betis have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Xavi Torres from Getafe.
The 26-year-old arrives at Estadio Benito Villamarin for an undisclosed fee, and has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
Los Verdiblancos have been quite busy in the summer transfer window, having already signed Joan Verdu, Stephan Andersen, Jordi Figueras and Didac Vila among others.
Xavi Torres came through the youth ranks at Villarreal, but he soon moved to Barcelona B via Alicante.
He made two league appearances for the Catalans during his time at Camp Nou, only to be allowed to join Malaga in 2009.
However, it was at Levante where he finally managed to get his career back on track, making 69 La Liga appearances during the two years at the club.
After spending last season at Getafe, Torres has been given an opportunity to continue his development at Real Betis.
