According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz is a wanted man with several teams from across Europe being interested in acquiring his services. The forward’s number seven shirt was handed to new signing Eden Hazard earlier on in the summer transfer window, which is perhaps the biggest indicator of all that his days at the Bernabeu are numbered.
Diaz has never really been viewed as a key starter in the eyes of many Real fans, and as such, a handful of well known clubs have begun looking into the possibility of a transfer.
Those clubs include Real Betis, Valencia, Monaco and Marseille. You would think that Madrid would be hesitant to sell him to another La Liga rival, but that could depend on whether or not they consider either Betis or Valencia to be a threat.
Ligue 1, on the other hand, could be a great place for him to reinvent his game.
