Spanish sides Villarreal and Real Betis have reached an agreement over a loan deal for Matias Nahuel Leiva, who is joining Los Beticos on a two-year deal with an option to make it a permanent move.
Real Betis have officially announced the signing of the 19-year-old Spain winger who was linked with a move to Sporting Gijon as well.
The loan deal that has been reached with Villarreal has a mandatory clause that will force Real Betis to sign the player on a permanent basis if Nahuel plays more than 25 matches during either season of his two-year deal.
The agreement between two clubs also stipulates that Villarreal have a two-year buy-back option in case Betis go out to activate the buyout option for the 19-year-old player.
Nahuel began his professional career at Villarreal going up through the youth rank of el Madrigal side. Argentina-born winger possesses a Spanish passport and has already represented La Roja at the Under-21 level.
