Brighton confirm signing James Milner on free transfer
Brighton and Hove Albion have officially confirmed that James Milner will be joining their ranks on a free transfer when his contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this month.
The 37-year-old midfielder, an extremely versatile player, should be a fine addition for the Seagulls. There wouldn’t be many who could provide the same level of experience and guidance for their younger talents than the former England international.
Liverpool confirmed Milner’s departure a while back and the popular vice-captain has already said his goodbyes to the fans. It was immediately reported he would be joining Brighton.

Premier League clubs to enter Mbappe race?
It’s looking more likely by the day for Kylian Mbappe to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The 24-year-old France captain has been long linked with Real Madrid, but with Los Blancos now bound to pay €103 million to Borussia Dortmund for Jude Bellingham, Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly hoping to take advantage of the situation.
Bayern consider Caicedo swoop
Bayern Munich are looking to add a midfielder to their ranks, and with a deal for West Ham captain Declan Rice looking very unlikely at the moment, they are reportedly discussing a potential move for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
Like Rice, Caicedo is also considered by Arsenal, as well as Chelsea. The two London clubs expressed a strong interest in his services in January, but Brighton refused to enter any negotiations about a mid-season sale.
Arsenal interested in Kai Havertz
Arsenal are interested in Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. According to reports, the Gunners have already made contact with the Blues over the possibility over a transfer going through.
Chelsea are believed to be open to selling the 24-year-old Germany international, but only for the right price.
