Real considering Pedraza bid?

According to AS, Real Madrid are now considering a move for Villarreal defender Alfonso Pedraza. The general belief in the last few days was that the European champions were keeping tabs on the Spaniard, but now, it appears as if they’re more than ready to take their interest to the next level.

Pedraza has a £19 million release clause which will hardly be an issue for Madrid, who have paid far more for top young stars in the past.

Real have had a somewhat unpredictable start to the campaign and they could use some fresh meat, which could indicate that this move will come in January as opposed to next summer – which is when they tend to do the majority of their work.

Whatever the case may be it’s interesting to see Pedraza being given this kind of attention, and it appears as if Real want to get this over the line before too long.
