Real Madrid stormed to a 6-0 rout of Tianjin Teda to wrap up their pre-season tour of China.

Jose Mourinho made nine changes from the side that overwhelmed Guangzhou Evergrande 7-1 in their previous friendly match with Tomas Mejias handed a start in goal.

Los Blancos were on the front foot almost immediately, and they bore the fruit of their early domination by breaking the deadlock within eight minutes.

Cao Yang lunged in on Angel Di Maria with the referee immediately awarding a penalty. Kaka tapped in the spot kick in simple fashion to make it 1-0.

Real asserted their authority, and doubled the lead after 13 minutes when Di Maria etched his name on the scoresheet after some poor defending from the home side.

Gonzalo Higuain rounded Tianjin’s goalkeeper for Real’s third, before he was substituted for superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo then made it four, when his one-two pass with Mesut Ozil ended with him firing a powerful strike into the top corner.

Karim Benzema popped up with a late brace to complete the result, and maintain the La Liga giants’ perfect off-season record ahead of their league opener on August 19 against Athletic Bilbao.
