Real Madrid have made Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero their main target in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Star.
Aguero of course used to ply his trade with Atletico Madrid, so a move to the Bernabeu wouldn’t go down too well with his former employers, but when Real come knocking, a player often struggles to say no.
However, the Argentine has said he is very happy with the English Premier League champions at the moment and that he sees himself staying at the Etihad for some time.
As we know though, Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world and not many so no to the chance of joining them.
Jose Mourinho clearly feels as though Aguero could add something to his current squad as Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain haven’t had the best seasons as out-and-out strikers.
He would certainly get a lot of chances and score plenty of goals in La Liga, but if Aguero is loyal to City and Atletico, there is no chance of him heading to the Bernabeu anytime soon.
We shall see how this story develops over the next few months!
